restaurant

Not since the heady days of student loan cheques have I been going to restaurants for breakfast and then it was Quad on the High St and I'm not entirely sure why it was I went there. It seems to trade mostly off it's location and image, the food is OK but not worth the prices the decor and attitude of the place attempts to justify.

The Mellon and Palma ham was nice

The Old Parsonage Bar is a casual venue for the freshest fish, seafood, salads and snacks and divine breakfast plus a superb wine list. Centrally located next to the Church on St Giles, it's the perfect location for shoppers and theatre goers. With a private dining room, log fires, bar, restaurant and terrace it's a favourite Oxford destination and somewhat of an institution. Robust, simple and absolutely fresh best describes the menu's philosophy. Seafood is imported from Jersey and vegetables and meat supplied from local suppliers

I have heard nothing but good things about The Old Parsonage though for some reason I have never been.
